Mussels alla marinara are a delicious and substantial appetizer. The mussels are cooked in a tasty tomato sauce and served with croutons on the side.

Culurgiones, on the other hand, for the uninitiated, are a typical Sardinian dumpling. They are made with a stuffing of potatoes, pecorino cheese and mint, and are served with a cherry tomato sauce and a sprinkling of bottarga which, with its taste of the sea, goes perfectly with culurgiones.
